Regaining confidence in your ability to succeed in middle school
Energie Jeunes intervenes in middle schools to strengthen students' motivation, perseverance, and ability to overcome barriers to academic success. Its “Love to Learn” program is delivered in classrooms across underprivileged areas throughout mainland France and the overseas territories.
Highlights
- In-class intervention from 4th to 9th grade (CM1 to 3e), with three 55-minute workshops using videos and interactive activities to develop social-emotional skills
- A program grounded in cognitive science research, focusing on self-beliefs and motivational drivers
- Proven impact, measured on large student cohorts between 2014 and 2020, and cited as a best practice by Nobel Prize winners Esther Duflo and Abhijit Banerjee
