Contribute to the educational success of the most vulnerable young people

In a few figures

6 leading education associations
205 000 young people supported
2 million young people in difficulty
70 000 school dropouts each year
1.5 million NEETs (Not in Education, Employment, or Training)

Prevent dropouts rather than treat them

Each year, 70,000 young people aged 16 leave the school system and most of them join the 1.5 million NEETs. Preventing dropouts requires action from the earliest stages of language acquisition in preschool to ensure a solid foundation in reading and math.

It also means being present at key moments when the risk of academic failure is highest—transition to middle school, loss of motivation, disengagement, or lack of direction. By intervening early and consistently throughout the schooling journey, at the right times, we offer children prospects far different from those they would face if they dropped out.

Today, the lack of investment in prevention costs society €25 billion per year. It is essential to act by supporting associations that complement schools and are present throughout France.

Support leading education associations

Fondation AlphaOmega supports 6 associations, enabling them to grow and reach an increasing number of children. Why these associations in particular:

  • Each serves between 10,000 and 140,000 young people across the country.
  • Their educational programs are scientifically validated and their impact measured annually.
  • They offer complementary pedagogical approaches such as fostering a taste for reading through small groups or mentoring.
  • They track children throughout their educational journey, from preschool through to the baccalaureate.

How is your donation used?

By donating to Fondation AlphaOmega, you help expand the outreach of these six associations to all young people in need.

You directly support the fight against school dropout by funding:

  • after-school academic support clubs
  • in-home mentoring by university students
  • perseverance sessions in schools and middle schools
  • career exploration activities in middle and high school to prepare for orientation
