Our approach:
Venture Philanthropy

The AlphaOmega Foundation is one of the pioneers of Venture Philanthropy in France. Our aim is to help charities and social enterprises strengthen their organisations and to boost development.

  • Venture Philanthropy first appeared in English-speaking countries over a decade ago. It is an innovative approach to philanthropy applying the methods of Private Equity to the charitable sector.

  • Venture Philanthropy provides long-term support to charities and social enterprises, both financially and by way of management support.

Private Equity consists of investing in companies with significant growth potential to assist their development over the long-term. In addition to financial resources, investment teams provide their knowledge of the sector, their financial expertise and their experience in growing and managing companies.

Support dedicated to
strengthening structures

Investing in organisational structures promotes the charities' efficiency and sustainability.

  • We believe that providing long-term help to charities by concentrating on their strategy, finances and marketing, as opposed to directly financing their projects, will be more helpful to disadvantaged young people in the long run.
